You do not need to be a New Jersey resident or company to use the dispute resolution process administered by GMXC. The New Jersey International Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation Act, covers:
- Disputes between two or more persons/companies at least one of whom is a nonresident of the United States;
- Disputes between two or more persons/companies all of whom are residents of the United States if the dispute:
- Involves property located outside the United States
- Relates to a contract which envisages enforcement or performance in whole or in part outside the United States; or
- Bears some other relation to one or more foreign countries
Essentially, almost any dispute with an international component is eligible under the NJ Act.
